What’s inside the Shipment Box?
- ElphaPex DG1+ comes in a thick cardboard box, safely padded with thick foam pieces on top and bottom to prevent any damage to ASIC during shipping.

- Carefully remove the foam pieces and place the ASIC on a flat surface.

Step-by-step Instructions for Setting Up the ElphaPex DG1+
1. Preparing the ASIC
- Like most ASICs, ElphaPex DG1+ also demands a high power of 3950W. Hence, a regular North American home power supply won’t work. You will need a dedicated power infrastructure to operate your ElphaPex DG1+.
- You will need 240V power. Hence, collaborate with a certified electrician and get an L6-30R receptacle plug, and 240V, 30A PDU. The circuit and PDU won’t come with the ASIC. You have to order them separately.

- Like most ASICs, ElphaPex DG1+ does not have wifi support. Thus, you will need a hardwire ethernet cable for your DG1+.

- Next is to place the ASIC in a well-ventilated place to exhaust all the heat generated during the crypto mining process.
- You will also need two power cables, C-19 to C-20, as the ASIC won’t come with power cables.

- Plug the one end of the cable into ASIC and the other end into the PDU.

- The ASIC will start once the power connection is established. You can see the lights blinking.

2. Configuring the ASIC
- The next step is to find the IP address of your ElphaPex DG1+. You can get the IP address using either of the following steps.
~ You can use the free program software called Advanced IP Scanner to get your miner’s IP address.
~ Alternatively, you can log in to your router and get the IP address.
Here, let’s take the advanced IP scanner for illustration. The software automatically scans your IP address. You can copy that address.

3. Accessing the ElphaPex DG1+ via the Web Browser
- Paste the copied address into the web browser.

- It will take you to the page asking for a username and password. The default username and password is “root.”

- As you log in, you can access the web GUI of the ElphaPex DG1+.

4. Adding the Mining Pool
- There are mining pools you can partner with to mine Dogecoin. If you’re not sure which mining pool to add, you can check the MiningPoolStats.Stream. You can pick any mining pool of your choice.
- Here, let’s take Kryptex for illustration. Go to Kryptex.com. Here you can choose Litecoin/Dogecoin and click on the “Start mining” button.

- Now, you can copy the mining pool address and paste it into the pool settings page.

- Next, you can copy the backup pool and paste it into the second tab.

- You can copy the first mining pool address itself and paste it into the third tab, as there are no other backup mining pool options available here.
- Next is to add the worker’s name. For that you will need a Litecoin or Dogecoin wallet. It is highly recommended to get a Tangem wallet to store your Litecoin/Dogecoin.
- Once you get your wallet, you have to copy that wallet address and paste it into the user name tab. Then add a worker name separated by a period. Here the worker’s name is dg1plus02.

- You can copy and paste the same worker’s name on all three tabs. Likewise, you can give any password of your choice. Here the password given is “X’. Once you entered all the details, hit on the Save button.
5. Start Mining
- The miner should start mining immediately. You can check the mining status in real-time on its dashboard.

- Alternatively, you can also check your mining status by pasting your Litecoin address on the Kryptex website, as shown below.

- The power consumption of ElphaPex DG1+ here is 3953W, and the hash rate is around 14518MH/s as advertised. It might vary slightly in your case, depending on your mining atmosphere.
