The Bitmain Antminer S15 is an air-cooled SHA-256 Bitcoin ASIC released in December 2018, rated at 28 TH/s (plus or minus 5%) for about 1,596 W, roughly 57 J/TH. The power supply is built in, and the S15 needs 220-240 V mains: it will not run from a standard 110-120 V outlet. A low-power mode is listed at 15.5-18 TH/s for 775-900 W. Cooling is two 12038 fans and the unit is very loud, so it is not suited to living spaces. Ethernet and C13 power cables are not included. This is legacy hardware: its efficiency is several times worse than current-generation miners, so it only makes sense with very cheap electricity or a use for the heat.
